Awards: $2,000 in cash awards to top (6) selections

Entry Fee: $30 per artist for up to (2) entries

Awards: $325 in cash awards to top (6) selections

Macomb County Annual Secondary Student Show

About: All students in grades 7-12 currently enrolled in private, parochial, public, or homeschool in Macomb County are eligible to enter through their art teacher. No limit on number of entries per student, teacher, or school. Open to all media, 30 inch maximum size restriction. Submissions are reviewed by committee. Open March 8 - April 12, 2025.

Awards: $1,200 in awards

Entry fee: $2 per artwork submission

AboutKresge Artist Fellowships are $50,000 awards for emerging and established metro Detroit artists. â€‹Gilda Awards are $5,000 prizes for emerging artists, named in honor of artist, College for Creative Studies professor, and 2009 Kresge Artist Fellow Gilda Snowden (1954–2014).

Open to: Residents of Macomb, Oakland, or Wayne county ages 18+.

CALL FOR ART TEACHERS

12th Annual Wyland National Art Challenge

Hosted by the Wyland Foundation

Presented by Zenni Optical and Blick Art Materials

About: This annual event encourages students to think about the many conservation issues we face around the world and interpret them through art. Students can choose to work collaboratively on mural projects or create individual works of art and earn a chance to win classroom and individual prizes and scholarships.

 

Teachers are invited to encourage their students to highlight conservation and participate in three categories: classroom mural, individual art, and photography. The theme is environment and water. Open to students K-12.

Awards: (3) Classrooms and (16) students grades K-12 will win $2,950 in scholarships and art materials gift certificates. Winning entries are also included in a calendar.

CALL FOR EXHIBITION PROPOSALS

Hosted by the Anton Art Center

Non-profit organization | Mount Clemens, MI

​

About: The Anton Art Center accepts exhibition proposal submissions for review year-round. Applications are kept on file for an array of exhibition and artist opportunities that may arise. The exhibition space is limited and scheduled up to one to three years in advance. Exhibitions are on display between 4-8 weeks, depending on the seasonal schedule. Proposals may be for one or a combination of the galleries.
