The Congressional Art Competition is a nationwide juried student art event sponsored by The Congressional Institute in Washing, D.C. All Congressional Districts are invited to participate. The single best work from each participating district is displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year and the student is invited to attend the reception. Second and third place winners will hang in the district's office in Washington.
The 10th Congressional District of Michigan with community partners Anton Art Center and the Mount Clemens Public Library hosts the exhibition of the artwork submissions by students in grades 9 through 12 enrolled in private, public, parochial, or homeschool. Artworks are on display April 21 through May 8, 2025, at the Mount Clemens Public Library. The Opening Reception and Awards Announcement on Thursday, May 8th from 6-7pm at the Mount Clemens Public Library. This event is free and open to the public.
